Weekly Cleaning: Living Room/Dining Room

We rarely set foot in our dining room, so I decided to clean it on the same day as the living room.  If your dining room gets more use, you might want to dedicate a separate day to cleaning it too.  Here's the Living Room/Dining Room Cleaning Routine:

• Clean cobwebs
• Dust all surfaces and items
• Clean end-table and coffee-table
• Wipe switchplates, remotes and phone
• De-clutter reading materials (newspapers, magazines, etc.)
• Vacuum
• Clean hardwood floors (I'm using my steam mop to do this step)

This takes a little longer, but we use our living room for almost everything.  It's worth it to get it clean and *hopefully* sanitized.
