I am such a sucker for makeover stories.  That's probably why I loved The Overnight Socialite.  It's a story about a girl who moves to New York and meets an obnoxious Park Avenue-type who decides to make her into a socialite to help boost his lame career.  It's a twist on a story that's been done over and over again, but I loved it!

Now I'm on to Bringing Home the Birkin.  I'll post a mini-review when I'm finished, but so far, it's a good read too.
